Judge Him by His Music, not His Athiesm

All of you NEED to go listen to the prelude from Tristan und Isolde. I don't care if Wagner was an athiest, his music has enough beauty to have been composed by a Christian.

His music is BEAUTIFUL???? Maybe. But what is the ratio of beautiful music to not so beautiful music? Of course, music doesn't necessarily have to be beautiful to be good.

Are you saying we overlook the fact that he's an athiest?

I meant "we should".

I suppose I was unclear. The prelude from Tristan und Isolde is so beautiful that we should overlook the fact that he was an athiest when we consider whether we listen to it or not.

I kind of figured that's what you meant, but I had to give you a hard time. :-) The title should probably have been "Judge His Music by His Music and not His Athiesm".

You are right. Excellent grammar.
